CA Cloud Workforce Consortia

Cloud computing jobs utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) have increased by 177% since 2014 with over 2,000 annual openings in Los Angeles County1. The practical application of skills and industry certifications makes cloud computing programs appropriate for new students, IT, computer science, business or web design professionals looking to integrate cloud managed services.

The project partnered with AWS to develop college credit courses based on AWS certifications and cloud computing career pathways.

The goal of the CA Cloud Workforce Consortia is to expand the common cloud curriculum and develop a regional career pathway program leading to industry certifications.

This consortia is funded by the California Community College Chancellor's Office under the Strong Workforce Program (SWP).
